What we promise
Every piece of editorial content on this site is reviewed by an editor before publication and dated so you can judge how current it is. Where a piece carries a named contributor, their profile is linked from the byline.
Sourcing
Where an article states a fact that a reader might act on, we cite where it came from. Sources appear at the foot of the piece as a numbered list. We prefer primary sources — government tourism boards, UNESCO listings, museums, academic work and first-hand reporting — over secondary travel content.
Travel requirements are orientation, not advice
Visa rules, health requirements, entry conditions and safety guidance change frequently and vary by nationality. Nothing on this site is legal, medical or governmental advice. Our planning guides explain how these things generally work and link to the official source. Always confirm with that source, and with your own government, before you travel.
Every planning guide displays the date it was last reviewed and is on a scheduled re-check.
Images and permissions
Every published image carries a visible credit. We do not publish photographs of identifiable people taken in private moments, in places of worship, or in situations of distress without consent.
Traveller stories are published only after the traveller has given explicit written permission, and only in the form they asked for — full name, first name, initials or anonymous.
Commercial content
Links to LABUSA Travel are commercial and are labelled as such wherever they appear. No editorial decision — what we cover, what we recommend, what we criticise — is made on commercial grounds. We do not publish paid placements disguised as editorial. If we ever run sponsored or partner content it will be labelled at the top of the page.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we correct it on the page and add a dated correction notice explaining what changed. We do not quietly edit a published piece to remove an error.
