Is Echoes of Africa a travel agency?
No. We are an editorial publication. We do not sell trips, take payments or process bookings. Those happen on labusatravel.com, operated by LABUSA Travel, who publish this site.
Who writes the content?
Staff editors and commissioned contributors — writers, photographers, historians and guides, with a strong preference for people who have a direct connection to the places they cover. Contributors are named and profiled.
Can I rely on your visa and health information?
Use it for orientation, then confirm it. Entry, visa and health requirements change frequently and depend on your nationality, route and dates. Nothing here is legal, medical or governmental advice. Every guide shows when it was last reviewed and links to the official source.
How often is the site updated?
We publish when a piece is ready rather than to a schedule. Planning guides are on a scheduled re-check because their content goes stale.
I found an error. What do I do?
Email editorial@echoesofafricatour.com with the page address and what you believe is wrong. We publish dated correction notices on the affected page rather than quietly editing errors away.
Can I write for you?
Yes — see Contributors for what we commission and how to pitch. We pay for commissioned work.
Can I republish your articles or photographs?
Not without permission. Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome. For anything more, email us.
Do you accept sponsored content?
We do not currently publish it. If that changes, any such piece will be labelled at the top of the page with who paid for it, and never presented as independent editorial. See About This Website.
